Jack DeCerce, Sales Associates
Jack DeCerce FACHE joined Sitar Realty Company, a full service commercial real estate firm based in Iselin, New Jersey, after a career in top management at hospitals and medical consulting. He serves Sitar as a Consultant/salesperson leveraging his management and development experience dealing with larger projects. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. DeCerce was a recognized leader in healthcare. He served as founding CEO of the CentraState Health System based in Freehold, NJ. Advocacy for this expansive medical center serving three counties required membership on regional and national professional medical societies. In addition, Jack has led extensive consultative experience with various regulatory agencies as well as pharmaceutical and medical companies.
Among his accomplishments as a healthcare leader, Mr. DeCerce created more than $500 M in medical facilities over a broad region of Central New Jersey. During his tenure as CEO, the CentraState campus and medical staff tripled in size and created numerous satellite treatment facilities, MD joint ventures, nursing homes and assisted living facilities across central NJ. Jack also built a 50 acre CCRC village with housing and eldercare for 700 residents financed with $50 M in tax exempt bond market financing.
During his healthcare career, Jack served as Health system CEO, industry advocate and medical consultant. He has been participated in state and national lobbying including Chair of the NJ Hospital Reimbursement and Government Relations Councils. Johnson & Johnson recruited him to organize an international expert panel for development of economic models associated with introduction of the most successful medical device in history – the coronary artery stent implant [$ 10B in revenue]
Jack’s consulting experience includes more than 6,000 presentations before medical associations and government / regulatory bodies as representative for both hospital-physician groups and medical companies. Internationally, he has served with US-AID / NGO’s leading assignments including: $ 10 M in facility development assistance at the Polish American Children’s Hospital in Krakow, Poland; lectures on resource allocation and health Insurance at the famous revolutionary shipyard in Gdansk, Poland; cardiac surgery business development in Novosibirsk, Siberia: leading an Aids Foundation team to provide technical assistance for clinical testing – treatment and help counter an HIV-Aids epidemic among newborn patients at a Pediatric center in the Mongol Republic of Kalymikia in the former USSR.
Mr. DeCerce has earned a BA from Siena College in Loudonville, NY and an MA from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ. He has pursued Ph.D. studies at Rutgers University, University of Pittsburgh and Cambridge University [UK]. Based on his contributions to the field, he has been named a Fellow of the America College of Healthcare Executives [FACHE] based in Chicago, IL
