John Shibles is Senior Vice President of Sitar Company, a full-service commercial real estate firm based in New Jersey. Since joining the Company in 1982, Mr. Shibles has successfully concluded more than three million square feet of office and industrial space throughout New Jersey for numerous corporate clients. He has also negotiated the sale of many commercial and investment properties and has represented clients in the sale of more than 5,000 acres in New Jersey.
In his role as Senior Vice President, Mr. Shibles uses his strong financial and marketing background in corporate real estate matters and methods of analyzing a buy/sell offer to provide clients with creative solutions that are respected throughout the industry. His appraisal skills have been recognized on many tax appeal matters and he is formerly a New Jersey Certified Tax Assessor.
Mr. Shibles’ most recent transactions include a 300,000 square feet distribution center in Logan Township; a 812,000 square feet distribution facility in Cranbury; several net leased properties for Walgreens and Eckerd; and the sale of 400 acres of vacant land in Howell Township and 150 acres in Plainsboro.
Mr. Shibles’ list of clients includes Home Depot, Marriott, Calton Homes, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of New Jersey, Unisys, Pilot Corporation, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, McDonald’s, Wal-Mart and Lend Lease.
Mr. Shibles is a licensed New Jersey real estate broker/salesperson. A guest lecturer frequently featured across the state of New Jersey, Mr. Shibles is also active in community affairs and served on the Advisory Council of Summit Bank for more than a decade. He is a graduate of Quincy University in Quincy, Mass. and holds a Master of Business Administration in finance from Pace University. He has taken additional courses at Rutgers University and New York University and has attended numerous Urban Land Institute functions.
